Reed diffuser or electric diffuser: which diffusion method should you choose for each room?
Scenting your home without flames or electrical outlets: this is the whole art of capillary diffusion, which Collines de Provence has been practicing since the late 1980s, originating the famous "fragrant bouquet" created in our Mane workshops.
How does a home fragrance work?
The rattan reeds placed in the bottle absorb the fragrance through capillary action and release it gradually into the air, without flame or electricity. The more reeds used, the more intense the diffusion: adjust according to the size of the room and the desired intensity.
Fragrant bouquet or diffuser: what are the differences?
The principle is the same, the presentation differs: the fragrant bouquet, historically composed of a glass bottle and a cork stopper, stands out as a decorative object in its own right. The diffuser, more discreet, slips easily into an entryway, restroom, or hallway.
Where to place them?
- Entryway or hallway: to scent as soon as you arrive, without excessive intensity.
- Living room: a generous format for continuous diffusion in a large space.
- Bedroom: a soft scent, away from the headboard.
- To avoid: direct sunlight or a direct heat source, which alters the fragrance.
