The plant comes from Polynesia, loves coral soil, the flower has 5-9 petals and is used in everyday life. The Tiare flower is the symbol and soul of Tahiti. Men and women wear these fragrant flowers for special ceremonies and give them to guests to welcome them.
Tiare Flower, aka the Tahitian gardenia, is a small shrub with a powerful jasmine scent. The tropical shrub can grow to 4m tall. Its leaves provide relief from sunburn. In terms of skincare, the plant's flowers are a key ingredient in monoi oil which is made by macerating the petals in coconut oil.
The Tiare flower comes from the South Pacific mountain shores and is unique as it's one of few flowers that originally comes from Polynesia. It's the national flower of French Polynesia and Bora Bora island.
